About the Role
Event bartenders mix drinks, set up stations, and keep service moving. You help guests feel welcome and keep the bar tidy from first pour to last call. The pace is quick, the teams are supportive, and the settings change often across Austin.
Main Tasks
- Make and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and soft drinks.
- Greet guests and provide friendly, professional service.
- Keep bar areas clean, stocked, and safe during the event.
- Set up and break down bar stations quickly and neatly.
- Follow TABC and all Texas alcohol laws at all times.
- Work with event staff to keep service smooth and on time.
Candidate Profile
- 3+ years of bartending experience at events or upscale venues.
- Knowledge of common cocktails, beers, and wines.
- Valid TABC certification; must be 21+.
- Able to lift 25 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Strong customer service and clear communication.
- Reliable transport for gigs in Downtown, South Congress, and nearby areas.
