Event Cleaning Staff Jobs in San Francisco
We are hiring reliable and hardworking event cleaning staff to support private events, corporate gatherings, brand activations, pop-ups, receptions, and live productions throughout San Francisco. You will help keep event spaces clean, organized, safe, and guest-ready before, during, and after each event. Assignments are available across areas such as Downtown San Francisco, the Financial District, SoMa, Mission Bay, the Embarcadero, Union Square, Nob Hill, and Fisherman's Wharf. Weekly Pay: Payroll runs every Friday via direct deposit (ACH). Pay is one week in arrears — hours worked this week are paid the following Friday.

About the Role
As an event cleaning staff member with NYE Staffing, you will help maintain clean and professional event spaces throughout San Francisco. Cleaning assignments can include pre-event preparation, maintaining cleanliness while guests are present, and post-event cleanup after an event ends.
You may work at private parties, corporate events, conferences, product launches, brand activations, receptions, pop-ups, and other live events. Depending on the assignment, you may work independently or alongside cleaning crews, event captains, production teams, servers, bartenders, and venue staff.
Responsibilities
- Keep event spaces clean, organized, and guest-ready.
- Clean tables, counters, floors, and common areas.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners.
- Monitor and maintain restrooms during events.
- Restock restroom products and cleaning supplies when needed.
- Respond quickly to spills and other cleaning needs.
- Collect and properly dispose of event waste.
- Help with pre-event cleaning before guests arrive.
- Assist with post-event cleanup and venue reset.
- Work with supervisors and other event staff to keep operations running smoothly.
Qualifications
- Live in or near San Francisco or the surrounding Bay Area.
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to work at the scheduled start time.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and moving throughout your shift.
- Able to lift approximately 20–30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds when an assignment requires it.
- Evening and weekend availability is a plus.
- Previous cleaning, janitorial, housekeeping, hospitality, or event experience is a plus, but not always required.
Skills
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in busy, fast-paced event environments.
- Able to follow instructions from event captains, supervisors, and venue management.
