Event Helper Job | Seattle

Location - Seattle, WA | United States

We’re looking for reliable event helpers in Seattle to support event setup, breakdown, packing, cleaning, and general event operations. This role is a great fit for people who enjoy hands-on work, can follow directions, and like being part of a team. You may help carry boxes, move equipment, support stage setup, organize event areas, and make sure the space is clean and ready before, during, and after the event. Weekly Pay: Approved hours are processed weekly after payroll onboarding is completed. Team members receive digital pay records and consistent payment scheduling.
Events Across the City: Assignments may include corporate events, private parties, trade shows, concerts, activations, and venue setups across Downtown Seattle, SoDo, Capitol Hill, South Lake Union, and nearby areas.
Flexible Schedule: Shifts may happen during mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight teardown periods depending on the event schedule.

Qualifications

  • A positive attitude and willingness to help the team wherever needed.
  • Comfort working in fast paced event environments with changing schedules.
  • Strong reliability and the ability to arrive on time for every shift.
  • Good communication skills when working with supervisors, coworkers, and vendors.
  • Previous experience in events, moving, hospitality, warehouse work, or setup roles is helpful but not required.
  • Confidence handling physical work throughout long event shifts.
  • Professional behavior while working around guests and clients.
  • Ability to stay organized while managing multiple tasks during busy moments.

Responsibilities

  • Help carry, move, load, and unload boxes, supplies, furniture, and event materials.
  • Assist with event setup including tables, chairs, displays, staging items, and signage.
  • Support stage preparation by moving equipment and helping place production items where needed.
  • Pack and organize supplies carefully before and after the event.
  • Keep event spaces clean, safe, and organized throughout setup and teardown periods.
  • Remove trash, empty boxes, and unused materials from work areas.
  • Work closely with the event lead and follow instructions during active event operations.
  • Assist with breakdown after the event by packing materials and resetting the venue space.
  • Help maintain organized back-of-house areas for smoother operations.
  • Adapt quickly if schedules, layouts, or event needs change during the shift.
