About the Event Server
As an Event Server, you help bring events to life. You’ll set tables, serve guests, and keep things running smoothly from start to finish. It’s a hands-on role where your energy and attention to detail really matter. If you enjoy fast-paced work, like being around people, and want to be part of Chicago’s top events, this could be the perfect job for you.
What You Will Do
- Set up and take down tables, chairs, and food stations.
- Serve food and beverages with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Manage tray service, buffet lines, and guest requests.
- Follow food safety rules to keep everything clean and safe.
- Keep the serving area and kitchen tidy during events.
- Work closely with the kitchen to ensure food is served on time.
- Answer guest questions and ensure a great experience.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 2 years in catering, restaurants, or hospitality.
- Strong communication and customer focus; calm under pressure.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (ServeSafe or similar is a plus).
