About the Role
As a Brand Ambassador with NYE Staffing in Houston, you will create engaging customer interactions that help people understand, experience, and connect with the brands you represent. This position is focused on product education, customer engagement, sales support, and professional brand storytelling. You may support beverage tastings, promotional activations, retail campaigns, VIP experiences, and special events where your presence, communication, and energy directly influence the guest experience.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to approach customers naturally, explain products clearly, and represent brands in a polished and positive way.
- Outgoing, confident, and professional personality with the ability to create a welcoming experience for consumers, VIP guests, and event attendees.
- Comfortable working in retail, hospitality, promotional, or live event environments where repeated customer interaction is required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, stay energetic during the full shift, and remain focused during high-traffic activations.
- Genuine interest in the products being represented, including the ability to speak with enthusiasm about beverage brands, product features, and customer benefits.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to different Houston-area locations for scheduled activations and events.
Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging consumer tasting experiences at liquor stores, grocery stores, bars, restaurants, festivals, sporting events, convenience stores, gas stations, trade shows, and other promotional locations.
- Present products in a clear and compelling way by explaining brand attributes, product features, key benefits, and selling points to potential customers.
- Distribute product samples and promotional materials when required to increase brand awareness, encourage trial, and support customer loyalty.
- Engage with consumers by answering questions, offering guidance, and helping create a more informed and enjoyable tasting or brand experience.
- Move through the event or activation space with confidence and polish, proactively engaging guests in a warm, refined, and brand-appropriate manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually presentable activation area throughout the event to reflect the quality and professionalism of the brand.
- Coordinate with on-site leads, production assistants, or event managers for restocking, logistics, materials, and real-time event needs.
- Represent each brand with enthusiasm, professionalism, and attention to detail while helping every guest interaction feel personal and high-quality.
Requirements
- Must be able to stand and remain active for extended periods, including activations that may last several hours.
- Comfortable speaking with many customers throughout the shift in retail, event, or hospitality settings.
- Ability to follow client instructions, brand talking points, event guidelines, and on-site direction from supervisors.
- Professional appearance, punctuality, and dependable attendance are required for every scheduled activation.
- Availability for event-based shifts, including evenings, weekends, and days with multiple short activations when scheduled.
- Must be able to maintain a positive attitude and customer-focused approach throughout repetitive consumer interactions.
