About the Role
Event hostesses are the first face guests see. Guide people to the right spot, check lists quickly, and share essential event details. Work varies between convention halls, hotels, and nightlife spaces, giving you a mix of experiences.
What You Will Do
- Welcome attendees with confidence and warmth.
- Manage guest lists and check-ins with accuracy.
- Share clear event details and answer simple questions.
- Help direct crowd flow and seating arrangements.
- Keep entryways and reception areas organized.
- Support teammates to ensure smooth operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Local candidates based in or near Las Vegas.
- Strong communication skills and a professional presence.
- Comfortable working with large groups in busy settings.
- Dependable, punctual, and supportive in a team setting.
- Able to stand and walk for several hours; lift up to ~20 lbs.
- Experience in hospitality, events, or promotions is an advantage.
Minimum Qualifications (Las Vegas Events)
- Commit to 4–8 monthly events, including Friday or Saturday nights.
- Maintain regular access to email and text messages for scheduling.
- High School Diploma or GED; valid ID and Social Security card.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Good character; no felony convictions or crimes of moral turpitude.
- Reliable transportation to venues around the city.
- English fluency, spoken and written.
Professional Appearance & Grooming
- Consistent, professional look at all times.
- Natural hair color; tattoos covered; no facial tattoos or piercings.
- Neatly trimmed nails under ¼ inch.
- Men: Hair trimmed above the collar; neat facial grooming.
- Women: Only stud earrings, minimal jewelry, and neutral accessories.
Uniform & Gear (Event Hostesses)
- Black blazer, white long-sleeve button-down, black slacks or skirt, black belt, shoes, and socks/tights.
- Neutral makeup and simple accessories; event-specific notes provided in shift briefs.
Screening & Compliance
- Background checks and drug testing may be part of the hiring process.
- All staff must follow venue safety rules and client policies at every event.
