Responsibilities
- Arrange tables, chairs, buffet stations, and serving areas before guests arrive.
- Provide food and beverage service with professionalism, courtesy, and speed.
- Set up chafing dishes, buffet lines, and food warmers according to event standards.
- Handle Sterno fuel safely and support proper ignition for chafing dish service when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe service environment throughout the shift.
- Support kitchen, catering, and service staff during peak event hours.
- Coordinate with chefs and event leads to help keep food service on schedule.
- Assist and guide guests as needed during weddings, corporate events, and private parties.
Candidate Profile
- At least 2 years in restaurants, catering, banquet service, or hospitality.
- Service-oriented attitude with strong attention to detail.
- Basic food safety knowledge.
- Organized and calm under pressure.
- Comfortable standing long hours and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Experience with buffet setup, chafing dish setup, and Sterno fuel handling is strongly preferred.
